Those three decades of trusted expertise have been served wholly in the UK – but as of 2024, we are also a Sage Intacct partner serving Canada.
At the beginning of summer, we celebrated the launch of our Toronto office – the first location Thinc has opened outside of the UK in our history. It was a meticulously considered yet ultimately easy decision to make, given the shared heritage and similarities between our two nations. Just as in the UK, SMEs are the heartbeat of the economy in Canada. We know that our proven way of working – connecting, collaborating and amplifying – can transform how they work.
We couldn’t have got to this point without the support of Toronto Global and Sage Canada. Since we established our plans to set up in Canada, we’ve been drawing on their deep understanding and working together on plans for launching there.
It was a great pleasure, then, to join them for a short chat about our mission.
In this eight-minute discussion, Toronto Global’s CEO Stephen Lund welcomes Dominic Ball, Thinc’s co-owner and Managing Director, Gary McKnight, Thinc’s Head of Commercial (Sage), and David Rumer, Sage’s Area Vice President for Canadian Partners and Strategic Alliances, for a discussion covering partnership, the potential of AI and establishing your digital core, and what it means to create “intelligent companies”.
