At the 2024 Sicon Annual Conference, solutions developer Sicon invites guests from its partner network to hear more about what exciting addons are coming soon. But it’s not all about the next innovation – there’s also time to take stock and recognise the achievements of its partners.

A new award from Sicon for Sage lead at Thinc

This year, Sicon introduced a new prize: the Youngman Award, named after Sicon’s co-founders Jane and Richard Youngman.

The prize has been created to recognise the long-term achievements of an individual from Sicon’s partner network, with the winner chosen by Jane and Richard.

We’re very proud to say that the winner was one of our own team – Gary McKnight, our Head of Commercial for Sage.

“We wanted to gift this to a person who has not only been a lovely person to work with over the past 25 plus years, someone who has been an advocate of Sicon, its products and its team, but also someone who is honest enough to challenge us when necessary on behalf of both the company they work for and their customers,” said Jane and Richard.

Gary is one of the longest-serving members of the Thinc team and his expertise in Sage has guided SMEs for decades. We’re thrilled to see that commitment and experience recognised by one of our most valued partners.
